About YL

I, Yvette Laduk, was born in Gouda, The Netherlands, on September 25, 1971 and am living together with Bas de Boer. Graduated from Nimeto College (Utrecht, advertising and presentation techniques), followed up by the Junior Academy for Art Direction in Amsterdam.

From 1994 to 2001 I worked as an art director for several advertising agencies, Lowe and Ubachs Wisbrun among them.

For a while the independent life was working its magic on me and in 2001 I became a freelance art director. Apart from doing conceptual and graphic design work I was already busy thinking out and designing living accessories at that time.

In 2005 I finally got a chance to develop and introduce my first interior design object: the Woody Wood rug.

Since that time I divide my time and energy between product design, industrial interior design and thinking out and designing advertising concepts.
